I am deeply proud of these young ladies and gentlemen. Their talent, teamwork, and work ethic are extraordinary, and they each hold a very special place in my heart. Since August, they have rehearsed, learned, laughed, and grown together, and I could not be prouder of what they have accomplished.

What Annie Jr. Teaches Us

This production of Annie Jr. has reminded us all of some timeless truths:

  1. Never Give Up Hope – Annie’s optimism, even in the hardest times, reminds us that hope has the power to carry us through life’s challenges. Her belief that “the sun’ll come out tomorrow” is a message we all need to hold onto.
  2. Family Is About Love, Not Just Blood – Family is found in the people who love us, support us, and help us grow. Annie’s journey shows that true family can be chosen and built from the heart.
  3. Kindness Can Change the World – Annie’s compassion touches everyone she meets, proving that small acts of kindness can ripple outward and transform lives.
  4. Money Can’t Buy Happiness – Oliver Warbucks discovers that joy comes not from wealth, but from love, generosity, and human connection.
  5. Everyone Deserves a Chance – Annie’s story reminds us to see the potential and goodness in everyone, no matter their circumstances.
  6. Courage Comes in Many Forms – From facing fear to standing up for what’s right, Annie shows that bravery often looks like faith and perseverance.
  7. Gratitude and Positivity Go Hand in Hand – Even in hardship, gratitude transforms our outlook. Annie’s joy teaches us that thankfulness brings light to dark places.

We hope that you enjoy our presentation of Annie Jr. as much as we have enjoyed preparing it. Thank you for your support of our students and of the performing arts at CCA.

Always remember "You're Never Fully Dressed without a Smile"!

With pride and gratitude,
