Zaria Brownlee

as Technical Director

Zaria Brownlee is an enthusiastic Technical Director with a love for bringing stories to life through careful coordination. This is her second year at Lake Highlands and beyond excited for the years to come. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre from Texas State University, where they worked as Shop Supervisor and Technical Director for multiple university productions, since graduation they’ve jumped headfirst into the world of professional theatre and could not be more excited to be a part of the Lake Highlands community. 

Outside of theatre, you’ll find Zaria sketching new ideas on her iPad, hunting for the best local coffee, or belting showtunes in the Scenic Shop.

Lydia Corwin

as Choreographer

Lydia Corwin has been a part of the LHHS Dance Department since Fall 2016. Ms. Corwin received her B.F.A in Dance Education from Texas Woman’s University and proudly serves as the Director of the Ballet Folklorico team and Assistant Director of the Lake Highlands Wranglers. She loves the community of Lake Highlands and the various dance opportunities she gets to work with. Ms. Corwin would like to thank the staff and administration of Lake Highlands, as well as her students and family for their continuous support! Ms. Corwin would like her final and biggest thank you to go to this year’s cast for all their hard work and dedication for this musical! Break a leg tonight (but not really)!

Marcus Cardenas

as Conductor

Mr. Cardenas is thrilled to be a part of his second production at Lake Highlands High School! He has previously served as the pit orchestra conductor for the productions, The Sound of Music, and The Marvelous Wonderettes. Mr. Cardenas is the Assistant Band Director at Lake Highlands High School. Outside of work, Mr. Cardenas enjoys traveling with his wife, running, and supporting THE Dallas Cowboys.
