Disney's Finding Nemo KIDS - March 19 - March 20, 2026

Alderman Road Elementary

 End Notes

Notes from the Director, Mrs. Meek

I want to personally thank everyone for supporting the Arts at our School. When I started this program it was because I wanted to bring my love of the theater to kids because I remembered how much I enjoyed opportunities like this & that shaped who I am today. It is still to this day the reason why I continue to keep our Drama Club program alive & thriving.

Each year, we inspire more students to take a chance, get out of their comfort zone, and soar to a new level. They are discovering new things about themselves and learning how to be encouraging, entertaining, wonderful public speakers and so much more.

This year, we got the joy to work directly with Disney & get a more emersive experience as to what the process truly looks like on Broadway with Disney productions. This has been a learning experience for all of us, but it has been such an inspirational experience. Our team has really dove into it & learned so much from this experience. We are so excited to see what the next couple of years brings us.

I also want to thank my team that helped me make this show a reality. I could not have done this show without Ms. Hodschon, Ms. Bryant, and Ms. Mozingo. We have learned from each other, about ourselves, and about how to make this program grow so much more.

I want to also give a shoutout to our 5th graders who will experience their final performances with us. We have truly loved having them & will be missing some amazing talent in years to come.

Charli- I have truly seen so much growth in you this year. You come in, give us all of the sass & never stop showing us who you truly are. Stay true to yourself & you will go far!

Aubrey- You have truly shown that you are meant to be on a stage! You have grown so much with your confidence & stage presence. I hope to see you on the big stage, and don't forget me when you become famous!

Rylee F.- You have showed us a new side this year, and it shows how silly, loud & spontaneous you can be. I love this new side we have been seeing. Hold on to your confidence & you will become something amazing!

Esme- Girl! You are a rockstar! I am so proud of your strength, courage & spirit. You have enbraced your characters & it shows when you are on stage. You will be truly missed on our stage, but we can't wait to see you on another!

Daniel- Though this may be your first and final Elementary show, it feels like you have been here so much longer than that. You are truly talented and I hope you continue to use your talent in the future!

Harlee- From a shy, intimidated by the stage, and full of doubt to outgoing, sassy, and thrilled to try more, we have watched your talent grow & watched you become the person you are now. We will miss your smile & humor and we cannot wait to see where you take your talent and sass to next.

Anya- You have truly been a joy to watch the last few years in Drama Club. You enjoy the stage, bring a fun & open mind to rehearsals and the show itself. This makes you a wonderful asset to our theater program. We hope you push those same traits somewhere you can learn more from.

Serenity- We have thorough enjoyed you joining Drama Club half way through the start of the process. You have truly shown that you a wonderful addition to our cast & you have earned your place here. I cannot wait to see where life takes you and your big personality. You will be truly be missed nex year.

I appreciate you all coming to support our show & these kids! They are truly a joy to work with and have such amazing talent. I hope this experience gives them a broader spectrum of goals & aspirations that they can achieve. The sky is the limit and I hope they can see what courage & strength it took for them to put on a show like this. I am truly honored to have these kids in my life.

With love,

Kelsey Meek
