What a first year for our committee! In early 2025, Radel Rosin, Executive Director of the AAV, reached out to each person individually to ask for their time and their trust to take the live theatre experience in Grayling to the next level.
By forming what is now known as the AuSable Community Theatre Committee, he created a team of nine hardworking members who work tirelessly to bring live theatre to the AAV stage.
Radel--your unwavering support of our program doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you for seeing the best in us.
Our committee members give so much of themselves, their time, their skills, and their talent to our Art community. In the first year, we traveled to Martha's Vineyard with the sisters of Elemeno Pea. We traveled through familiar tales with a new lens and had the chance to be flies on the wall during some outrageous auditions during the summer dinner theatre, A Night of One Acts, and we learned to what extent The Sisters of Perpetual Sewing would go to keep their convent open in our last production of 2025, Drinking Habits.
We're riding high from the outpouring of support from our community, and are so proud to keep the fun going into 2026 with our first production of the year. Tonight's Valentine's Day Dinner Theater brings music, food, and theater together in one room to celebrate the power of connection.
So, sit back, relax with the music, introduce yourself to the others at your table, savor the meal, and laugh as we take a look at three very different types of relationships through the eyes of six very different individuals.
Thank you for your support. We are so glad you're here.
