 Who's Who

  • Lily Elliott head shot

    Lily Elliott

    as Anya/Princess Anastasia

After playing previous roles such as Finch in Newsies and Grace in Cinderella, Lily (10th grade) is back on the stage for her fifth show at CCS, this time in the lead role as Anya. Lily has enjoyed spending time with the cast during practices, and she has learned to be patient when rehearsals get rough. Lily would like to thank her parents, Jennie, and Jonah for their encouragement and support, Seth for giving her voice lessons, her brother Josh for his nonstop “good job!”s, and Nolan for being such an encouraging co-lead throughout this whole process. Lily has grown in humility, especially in voice lessons. This year, Lily said she has the privilege of playing her dream role. If she could pick another role to play, she would want to be Eponine from Les Miserables.

  • Nolan Anderson head shot

    Nolan Anderson

    as Dmitry

An eleventh grader, this is Nolan’s fifth show at CCS! After playing a significant character, Davey, in last year’s Newsies, Nolan is returning as a lead playing Dmitry! Nolan’s favorite part of rehearsals has been making Anastasia come to life with all of his friends. He has learned to appreciate all of the “little things” in rehearsals—“the small moments I’ll remember years from now.” Nolan would like to thank his parents for their neverending encouragement, the Elliott family (including Jennie!) for their dedication to this show, and Titus and Josh for their friendship and encouragement on and off the stage. Nolan said that he is blessed to play one of his dream roles this year, but he would also love to play the Beast from “Beauty and the Beast” or Quasimodo from “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.”
