Technical Theatre Camp Director
Currently fresh off of graduating from Sweet Briar College with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Performing Arts: Theatre, August has demonstrated an exceptional talent and dedication to their craft. Their academic pursuits have not only equipped them with a solid foundation in theatrical arts but have also fueled their artistic exploration and innovation. August is working at the University of Virginia’s Drama Department as a Theatre Technician for the 2024-2025 Academic Calendar.

Skye Bilenkij
Usher/Concessions
Skye is excited to be part of her first technical theatre production! She worked on sets, costumes, lighting, and sound. Skye loves tinkering and building things in her free time, so helping bring the show to life behind the scenes was a perfect fit.

May Bitker
Spot Operator
May is a 14 year old going into 9th grade this year. In this show, she is the spotlight operator. Outside of theatre, she likes to draw, read, and play DND.

Cecily Calo
Set/Run Crew
Cecily is going into 8th grade at Mountaintop Montessori. She has previously been seen onstage in Comedy of Errors, The Tempest, and Addams Family the Musical, and has worked backstage for Romeo & Juliet. She’s glad to be back with friends for another DMR summer camp! Outside of acting she enjoys playing piano, violin, and soccer.

Cooper is a rising senior who is glad to be a helping hand for Beetlejuice. He is happy he was able to work on this show.
