Mount Vernon Christian School

 Who's Who

  • Charlie Droog head shot

    Charlie Droog

    as Ren McCormack

Charlie Droog is a senior, and this is his tenth production at MVC. He has performed in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Bridge to Terabithia, The Wizard of Oz, Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, The Mousetrap, Annie, Around the World in Eighty Days, Guys and Dolls, and Just Another High School Play. His favorite part of this musical was choreographing his own scenes. He would like to give a huge thanks to his fellow castmates, the crew, those who helped out with this show, and the Woo-Communication-Adaptability-Strategic-Arranger. He is very thankful to have spent these last seven years with these amazing people doing the thing he loves most, and he is grateful he gets to do it One Last Time.

  • Silver Hirning head shot

    Silver Hirning

    as Ethel McCormack (and Others)

Silver is a senior, and this is her last production at MVC. From Madame in Cinderella to General Cartwright in Guys and Dolls, she has enjoyed finding ways to make characters her own. The drama department has always given her a place to develop new skills and explore new sides of herself, and there aren't enough words to thank everyone involved in that process. Silver is sure she's done the right thing as she takes her final bow.

  • Josiah Toner head shot

    Josiah Toner

    as Reverend Shaw Moore

Josiah is a Senior in high school, and this is his seventh production at Mount Vernon Christian. He has performed in shows: Cinderella, Around the World in Eighty Days, Just Another High School Play, and acted bigger roles such as Sergeant Trotter in The Mousetrap, Daddy Warbucks in Annie, Nicely-Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls. He is grateful to be playing the role of Shaw in his senior production, and is sad that his high school theatre season is coming to an end. His favorite line as Shaw is, “Oh? I can assure you, it was not meant that way.” He would like to thank the world renowned Woo-Communication-Adaptability-Strategic-Arranger Mr Thayer, for returning from retirement and Mr. and Mrs. Vaerewyck, for putting on this show. He would also like to thank his family and friends for always being supportive of him and coming to performances, as well as his fellow cast mates which make the musical a fun challenge to overcome.
