Seize the day — and celebrate the village that made it possible!
This production of Newsies Jr. shines because of the incredible support behind the scenes. We are grateful to our devoted teachers, staff, and administration — especially Father Robert Ayala and Principal Heidi Suero — for their strong leadership, encouragement, and belief in the power of the arts.
To our amazing parents and families: thank you for every rehearsal ride, costume piece, late pickup, and word of encouragement. You are the backbone of this production.
A rousing thank you to Sheridan Lumber for providing our Drama Boxes and helping us build the world of Newsies Jr. We also tip our hats to the many local businesses who purchased ad space in this playbill — your support keeps the arts thriving in our community.
We are proud and grateful for our high school coaches and former students who returned to mentor and inspire our cast.
And a standing ovation for The Broadway Bradshaws, whose dynamic workshop launched our choreography and helped our performers find their confidence, strength, and showmanship.
To our 8th-grade cast members: as you take your final bow with us and prepare to graduate, we could not be more proud. Thank you for your leadership, dedication, and the example you’ve set for younger performers. May you continue to seize the day in high school and beyond. Break a leg in all that comes next — you will always have a home on our stage.
Because of each of you, our students didn’t just put on a show — they seized the day.
