Kimberly Tax Tax

as Sophie Sheridan
Kimberly Tax Tax is a current sophomore and will play Sophie Sheridan, a young woman trying to find her dad. This is her first time having a role in theater. She enjoys spending time with the cast and crew and is happy to have made new memories and friends. She hopes you all enjoy the show and get ready for a lot of drama. Thank you!  

Samantha Velecela

as Sophie Sheridan
Samantha is thrilled to be performing the role of Sophie in this year’s production of Mamma Mia! She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she did working on it!  

Elisa Wu Xie

as Donna Sheridan
Elisa is a sophomore in NUHS, and this is her second year performing in a musical. Her first was Mean Girls Jr. last year as part of the ensemble. She enjoys writing in her free time and listening to music. She is also grateful for all the encouragement and kind words she has received from her friends and cast-mates, and hopes that everybody enjoys the show!  

Zackaria Lauro

as Sam Carmichael
Zackaria F. Lauro is a senior at New Utrecht High School and has done many theater productions. Beauty & the Beast(Beast), The Lion King(Simba), Guys and Dolls Jr (Nathan), and now is in Mean Girls Jr(Damian). However, Zack is also a hip-hop artist under the name “KingZ”, and is most definitely enjoying another moment in his limelight. Like most artists, the world is his muse, and he loves to create

Yilin Chen

as Bill Austin
Yilin is a senior, and she is excited to play her role. She performed and worked as a stage crew member in last year's Mean Girls show. Outside of school, she enjoys photography, cinematography, and music. Therefore, for her, theatre has been such a lovely experience. She would like to thank the amazing director for giving her these chances.  

Ryan Navarrete

Ryan, a junior, is thrilled to be in his 2nd NUHS production. He thanks his family & friends for their constant support & everyone involved in the process of bringing this musical to life.

Carson Lu

as Sky
Carson is a current junior and is excited to participate in the production of Mamma Mia! He hopes you all enjoy the show.

Karina Wu Ng Ho

as Tanya
Karina is thrilled to be part of this year’s theatre production. She has previously participated in several school performances, including the International Show (2026), the Open House Chorus Performance (2026), and the Chinese New Year Show (2026). Outside of performing, Karina enjoys playing badminton and watching Broadway musicals. She would like to thank the entire production team for their dedication, support, and hard work in making this show possible.

Symphony Diaz

as Rosie
Symphony is a current senior at New Utrecht High School and is so thrilled to play the part of Rosie in the Mamma Mia production! She played as Gretchen in last year’s musical, Mean Girls, and also performed in Seussical Jr. as Mayzie La Bird and Mrs. Who. She would like to thank Mr. Giarratana, Irene, and Amanda for their hard work and patience, as well as the rest of the team! Symphony hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Jonlya Wang

as Ali
Jonlya Wang is a sophomore at New Utrecht High School. She likes to listen to music and draw.
