Rebecca Pollard Brune
Director
A veteran director/actor in the Southeastern arts community, Ms. Brune’s directorial credits are extensive. A few notable theatre companies include Stage Director for Something Rotten! (Augusta Players Mainstage), Artistic Director for Augusta Jr. Players, and Stage Director for Trouble in Tahiti (Augusta University Opera). Notable stage roles include Madame de la Grande Bouche in Beauty and the Beast, Ursula in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, and Baroness Bomburst in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Ms. Brune is a member of the Educational Theatre Association and holds positions on the Georgia State Thespian Board, Jr. State Thespian Board and Educators Conference Board. Jamie Mulanax Sidener
Musical Director / Costume Design
Jamie M. Sidener is excited to serve as Musical Director and Costume Designer for Grease, a show that brings back fond memories of playing Marty in her 1988 high school production. With performing arts education degrees from Kansas State University, she has spent 30 years nurturing young talent as a theatre and music educator. Most recently, her direction of DFA’s Seussical Jr. earned First Place at the Georgia Thespian Conference. Mrs. Sidener began performing at age five as a flower in Carmen and appeared in film The Day After. Stage credits include Mamma Mia! (Donna), Gentleman’s Guide (Sibella), and Addams Family (Alice). She is grateful for the love and support of her husband and four daughters.
